  1. I read The Family and I thought it was a very good book with great transitions. I was wondering if you are thinking about writing a sequel to The Family. I want to know if Twig transitions into her new life, if she sees Leo and his family again, and what happens to her old Family members end up.

    1. Hi Deana! So glad you liked the book and thank you for writing. I am thinking about writing a sequel, but not sure yet. Originally it was definitely meant to be a series…life/publishing stuff just got in the way. But…we are talking about it again. I will keep you posted! Happy New Year, and thank you so much again for reading The Family and for writing! – Marissa

  2. I really hope there is a sequel in the making, this was an amazing story and I would love to see where you take Twig and how adjusting to the “real” world will be for her.

  3. Hi Marissa! I saw “The Family” on the YASH website, and after reading the synopsis on your site, I am interested in reading it! I was wondering if I could get a signed bookplate for “The Family” and some swag? Could you make it out to Kester? Please e-mail me at kesternucum@yahoo.com for my information. Thank you!
